Shawn Blanc:
I can’t help but feel that the whole point of Tiny Tower is to bore me or frustrate me to the point of spending real dollars to buy Tower Bux in order to speed up the game play. As cute and clever as Tiny Tower may be, I prefer games with a strategy and a goal.
I tried Tiny Tower for an hour or so and then deleted it. Any game that follows this same strategy – offer the game for free and sell consumables without which the game sucks – I don’t even bother installing. Games like this are the slot machines of the 21st century. The “game’s” sole purpose and goal is to get you to spend money.
Give me a game that I can play as often and as long as I want and that’s fun without me having to purchase any additional “features”, and I’ll gladly pay you a couple of bucks. But screw your “free” “game”.
